Pullmantur Cruises gain from Ocean Village

Pullmantur Cruises are set to gain from the future closure of Ocean Village Cruises as they and Thomson Cruises will be the only 3 star cruise lines that regularly have UK based visitor on board.

Ocean Village, via Carnival Corporation have announced the closure of Ocean Village from 2010, with one ship leaving at the end of 2009. Both ships will be going to P&O Cruises Australia.

Pullmantur Cruises Sovereign

Pullmantur Gain Island Star

News is breaking that Pullmantur will gain Island Star when Royal Caribbean sell off their share in Island Cruises to TUI who already own 50% of the company.

Island Star is set to cruise with Island Cruises until April 2009, it will then be refurbished before heading to Pullmantur Cruises.
